Lives up to its name!
Date:July 9, 2009
I tried this yesterday for the first time and was very pleased! Since I was giving it a "trial run" I wore slacks to work and was amazed that it did not rub off through a day of work followed by a workout at the gym in our hot, humid weather. I took the advice of another reviewer and purchased the medium even though I have very fair skin. She gave excellent advice; the medium gave my legs a nice glow and almost flawless look. I plan on using it when I attend a summer wedding wearing strappy sandals and no pantyhose. Follow the directions for application and be sure to exfoliate first for the best results.

gummy and rubs off
Date:May 4, 2012
the look of the makeup on the skin is very nice, a matt finish, looks like stockings, and the coverage is good, it conceals well.
But! it is gummy and sticky feeling and rubs off. Joan- you need to create a better product before you have your next fashion police segment- otherwise you might get arrested for this product.

Disappointed
Date:May 4, 2012
I am disappointed in this product. It does not go on smoothly at all. It does come off on clothes even after letting it dry for 20 minutes. There were no directions in the box. Just a big disappointment. I now have to find another product to take this ones place.

It's okay
Date:April 19, 2012
I would recommend this product to someone only if they have very subtle imperfections on their skin. I unfortunately ordered the "light" because I'm fair skinned, but it is too light. However, even with 2-3 coats, it does not cover my spider veins well at all. Parts of my legs do look nice/better with it on, but only the parts of my legs that are fairly clear anyway. For just brightening the skin I think a spray tan would work better.

Surprisingly good on chest
Date:September 3, 2011
It is kind of thick and I like Sally Hansen better on my legs, but it is AWSOME on my 56 year old chest. I had to put a little moisturizer with it and make sure to cover evenly but it looked very natural and covered wrinkles and light sunspots. It even looks natural in bright sunlight. I definitely recommend it.

Terribly Disappointed
Date:August 25, 2011
I bought this product because I heard it didn't rub off on your clothes. Well, it did and plenty. Instructions say to wait at least ten minutes before putting on your clothes. To be safe, I waited 1/2 hr. It was totally embarressing as it rubbed off on my white pants and the person that was sitting next to me at a dinner party. Never again. I will be calling to see if I can return this product.

The product was not easy to use and got all over everything. I gave it plenty of time to dry but it still transferred to clothing.

I like it
Date:July 20, 2011
OK, I read lots of the reviews, pros & cons and decided to order. On others' suggestions I ordered Medium instead of Fair, and am glad I did, especially for summer, gives a slight glow of color but not too much. I think it is imperitave to put on lotion before applying this, it's very matte and dries quickly. Lotion helps it spread on smoother. I didn't use the sponge at all (based on other reviews), just squeezed out and rubbed between both hands and applied to lower legs as evenly as i could get it. For me this product REALLY stayed on, it didn't rub off on my bed sheets, and very little came off on underside of white bermuda shorts, although I didn't apply product all the way up my thigh. I have lots of age spots and some spider veins and it covered very well and gave a nice, finished look to my skin. If there is any negative, it's getting it blended before it gets too dry. I do like it and will use it up this summer.

Sadly dissappointing
Date:July 9, 2011
The product did cover my legs as promised. The leg appearance, however, was of a support stocking rather than a bare leg. Perhaps I should have ordered the light rather than the medium shade. I was also not happy with the transference of color to my clothing. Since the product was damaged during shipping, perhaps the color transference to my clothing was a result of heat damage to the product. The customer service representatives were kind, caring, responsive, and efficient. I will continue to order other products from Soft Surroundings.

Even covers those dots from shaving!
Date:July 8, 2011
This is an excellent product if you are hesitant to wear skirts or shorts due to marks on your legs, including bruises, veins, broken blood vessels, age spots, and the little black dots (hair follicles) under your skin that you can see if you aren't tan. It looks very natural and so smooth, not fake at all because you can still see your skin under it. I highly, highly recommend this if you are self-conscious about your legs, it will make you feel so confident. It only takes a couple minutes to put on, it's basically the same as putting on regular lotion except for one extra step (you put the moisturizer on first, then the cover up). It dries within a minute and doesn't come off on your clothes. I usually only do my lower legs since I wear skirts that come to my knees, so that's the only part that shows. This washes off with soap easily. It is supposedly waterproof enough to swim with it but I haven't tried that yet. I love this product.

It saved my summer social life! It totally hid brown spots on my legs from medication for dermititis, and can now wear my shorts and capris.

Pretty good for spider veins
Date:July 3, 2011
I've used this product twice now, and both times my legs looked smooth and silky. It doesn't cover all my spider veins completely (I have many), but it's definitely an improvement. The "fair" color is a good match for my very fair skin. I wait at least 10 minutes after applying before getting dressed, and so far it hasn't come off on my clothing. It's pretty easy to apply, but the sponge applicator is already decomposing after just two uses! If the applicator were better, I'd give the product another star.

Don't waste your money
Date:July 2, 2011
Got the lightest color, it was still too dark and looked fake and left a residue feeling on my skin.
AND
the applicator on top fell apart after 3 uses.
I do NOT recommend this product at all.
