I purchased this for myself and I am very pleased with my purchase. The softness is beyond description! I feel like a queen. It is very well made. I've looked carefully at the stitching and the quality of this comforter is exceptional. If you are debating whether or not to try this, I don't think you will be sorry. I know I'm glad I have it! I plan on taking very good care of it and hope to have it for many years.

Did not like the color, to gray. Was very disappointed with the fullness-it seemed to flat. I returned it and still waiting for my refund/credit.

A friend of mine had visited China where silk comforters are fairly common. I was intrigued, and found this one at Soft Surroundings (competitively priced I might add). It's really lightweight (if you're the kind of person that likes the weight of blankets this might not work for you). Warm in winter, cool in summer. Even when it's freezing outside, I still usually only need this comforter to keep warm.

I bought one of these comforters years ago and I'm still using it and still loving it. The one that I recently purchased was for a gift and I hope the recipients love it as much as we have. It is the perfect weight....not too heavy but still provides warmth. I also like that it is hypoallergenic. It is a great comforter!

I have had this item now for over 15 years and one of my sons will be buying me a replacement. I use it even in the moderate weather when sleeping with cross ventilation because it may get chilly towards morning and it is so lightweight and easy to pull up. I never need any other covering throughout the year. I only store away in actual summer.

I had wanted an all silk comforter since using one a friend has at her home a few years ago. I didn't trust some I saw online, and some the prices were sky high for king size. Since I live in Southern Calif I don't need a heavy comforter, but it can get really chilly here in the winter, so I needed one with adequate warmth. As soon as I spread it on the bed, on top of everything, my cat claimed her spot. That night we slept together nice and toasty. ( I did finally remake the bed and put a duvet cover on it.)

This wonderful silk comforter is lightweight and lusciously warm. I don't handle heavy bedcovers, as I'm arthritic. It's like having a cloud of comfort covering me when I sleep. As a result. I'm sleeping so much better.

This is by far the best comforter I've ever purchased! In fact, its the second one I've bought from Soft Surroundings. I've looked at others and nothing compares to the high quality this one offers.

I purchased this silk comforter almost 20 years ago and I finally wore it out. Thinking I'd never find it again, I was thrilled to see the same exact comforter at Soft Surroundings. It is a dreamy, soft, silky mid-weight comforter that is a very rich off- white cream color. It is pure silk through and through. It has a substantial but light-weight feel that gently drapes over the body. I need no other blanket on a cold night with this. Though it may be meant to be used under a beadspread, I use it on top of the bed because it has a fine, casual, finished look. It is a worthwhile investment.

This is the best product ever. It is hard to find a silk coverlet with silk filling.
Never too hot or too cold. Amazing!
Year round cover even in the NW.
Only drawback if one is Dry Clean Only.

The comforter was perfect yet I requested it to be gift-wrapped and it wasn't. I wrapped it and it was a gift to a retiring employee (age 81) from the Veteran's Hospital!

We love the comforter, it is so luxurious.
The only drawback was the color, in the catalog the color looked like a very rich Ivory, in actuality it was a washed out cream color.
I will have to put a satin true Ivory color cover over it, in order to match the rest of my decor.

I am very pleased with my new silk comforter. They were out when I ordered it so it took several months to get it but it is worth the wait. It is soft & luxurious. I read a review that said it was too thin, but I don't think so. I think it is perfect. The picture is misleading as it does have a blush look. The one I received is white which I really like.

I've wanted this sumptuous silk comforter for years but thought it an unnecessary luxury. Now I know that it is a necessary luxury. I am so comfortable and pampered using this, and it's a beauty as well. It looks so great on the bed and feels so great on me.

I rec'd the silk comforter in the mail last week. It was wonderful !!! It is just as soft as the description in the catalog. Very compliant and molds to your body, so light it feels like no weight at all but is warm. it is supposed to be cool in the summer....so we'll see. I live in SoCal and it does get hot here in August !

The comforter is light and provides the coverage I was hoping for. The issue is the color. The photo suggested a vanilla to beige color and even to a pink to pastel look; the comforter has a grey tint and does not blend with the other items I have in the space. I was looking for a comforter that was light and yet warm when needed and cool when needed for someone who cannot tolerate any weight on their legs due to illness.

This is my second silk conforter...I had bought my previous one in China 10 years ago and lost it to a house fire. I just had to replace it - and this one is just like the other , so silky and light and warm. I use mine throughtout the year. It's the best conforter I've owned- it's so warm yet so light - and in the summer the silk against my skin - oh - what joy!

This silk comforter is wonderful! I had a hysterectomy when I was 44 and had trouble sleeping because of night sweats. I was either too hot or too cold. I tried a multitude of blankets and sleepwear. This comforter is the answer. I feel warm under it, but not hot. I am 66 years old and have suffered with this for 22 years. Thanks for providing a solution for me.
