"I absolutely love the way this looks. I also got the shams and it transformed my bedroom! However, I took it to the dry cleaners and when I got it back the padding on the top was all lumpy and the three of the knots were torn. It made me sick, so I ordered another one! I will have to do something different this time, but I haven't decided what."

"This bed spread is beautiful but once you wash it it's ruined. Washing instructions say dry clean or cold wash. I took it to the cleaners to have dry cleaned and they informed me that they would not dry clean it because of the fill but would throw in a large washing machine. So I took it to the laundromat and washed in the large capacity washer on a gentle cycle and it tore around three of the yarn knots."

"This bedspread is fantastic. The material is soft and flows beautifully. The ruffles on the sides are doubled, and make a lovely bed. The flat part of the spread is slightly padded, with quilting. "When I saw the photo in the catalog for this feminine, luxuriously-full Southampton comforter flowing delicately on the floor...I was hooked. It has an elegance that can't be ignored. Soft, cozy, comfy & simply all you could ask for in a beautiful comforter. I have a mahogany, four-poster bed & I had already bought a very stunning comforter & pillows elsewhere...but this seemed it would be perfect - set over the box spring to flow what looks to be endlessly on our wood floors...other skirts have been too short & failed me in the past. Still, I've not gotten over the fact I can't quite enjoy it in its entirety, not being able to see the gorgeous, quilted top of the comforter. Problem solved...I'm buying another for my guest bedroom to show it ALL off & to transform the room into the ultimate soft & oh-so-inviting guest room I've always envisioned. So...here I go again! Thanks Soft Surroundings! Besides my stunning DKNY Scattered Garden bedding, this Southampton is just as beautiful. That's saying a lot, since I'm a nightmare shopper when it comes to comforters...I've returned more than my fair share...not so with this one. Southampton - it's a keeper...no two ways about it!
