"After reading the reviews, I hoped the color would be more blue than violet as some people suggested. It was however, almost exactly as it appeared on screen. We have turned it over and use the yellow side up. I love the bright colors. It is used inside to absorb mud from the dog door and is working fine. My only criticism is that the rug does not lie flat, possibly because we are using it on the other side. The quality was perfect for our use."

"This mat is perfect for my needs. As noted by previous reviewers, the colors are bright, but I put it in a dark room and it really livened it up. I needed something that could be cleaned frequently and its so easy to clean. Also, I love that it is made from recycled materials. You won't mistake for an expensive wool rug, but for the price I didn't expect that. I'm very happy with it."

"I bought one of these in cobalt and I love the splash of color it brings. I put it in my family room, because I needed something colorful, yet sturdy and easy to clean; something to withstand the traffic of three big dogs and a cat. Because it's made out of recycled plastic, it's super easy - I run my steam mop over it, and the colors will not fade. Granted, for some, the colors, which really pop, will be too bright."

"I own 3 of these beautiful mats and they are under my outdoor tables. The water drains right through them and they are sturdy. They feel great under bare feet on a hot day. "I have ordered from Soft Surroundings twice now, and I think this will be the last time. This outdoor rug is just OK. I ordered the cobalt, and the color is almost neon, not the more muted colors represented in the photo. Also, the photo seems to have been retouched or blurred to make the material look softer and less coarse than it really is. It's actually a plastickey polyurethane affair. Since it is just going on our side porch where the pets often bring their killed prey or the dog occassionally vomits, it will be easy to clean off, but I certainly would not have ordered this for the price charged if I'd had a chance to see the reality beforehand."

"the colours were not what I was hoping for from the picture... more rusty brown, but I was still able to use it. I would suggest some kind of attached backing, on a smooth tile surface it is extremely slippery, slides even with furniture on it and a separate backing became cumbersome. this mat has potentials, may be the too lightweight material needs some weight to it if using in doors say in a family room."

"I read the reviews before ordering two of these mats, so I was not surprised when they didn't look as subdued as the photographs. The turquoise really brightens up my back porch. Although they looked a bit too bright before I put them down, I am very pleased with the ultimate effect. I have since bought a tablecloth and napkins to coordinate with the mats."

"This gorgeous cobalt blue rug now adorns my front porch. We live on a farm, and have two large dogs - so a little bit of everthing gets tracked across it. "I read the reviews about the color being a little brighter than they look here, and that is true. But I liked the idea that it brought a little splash of color to the drab colors of the patio.
