Ojon Shine & Protect Conditioner

The Ojon tree is native to Western Honduran Rain Forests, which is home to the Miskito Indians. For more than 500 years, these indigenous people have been extracting oil from the fruit-like nuts of the Ojon tree and using it for a variety of body treatments, including caring for their hair. Ojon's founder formed a partnership with the Tawira tribe of the Miskito who grow, harvest and share in the profits from Ojon® hair care. This conditioner enhances the rich vibrancy of hair color while protecting it from environmental damage with natural antioxidants. Ojon oil is combined with natural plant and fruit extracts to add brilliant shine and silkiness to hair.

Wow!, December 26, 2007
By Got2loveLA from Los Angeles, CA

"I have been looking at this product for...forever it seems. My hair used to be shiny, but has seemed dull for years. Then I bought the Ojon shampoo/conditioner after a consultation confirmed I didn't need the whole treatment product.
*
I was videotaped doing some impromptu dancing by my students, and to my surprise ended up on "YouTube." As I watched it, in the midst of my fear of what I might look like, I had two thoughts: "Thank God I wore my new suit," and "MAN! My hair is SHINY!"
*
I had started OJON three weeks previous. Meanwhile, others were saying my hair looked great, was I coloring it (no!), etc. and I didn't put it all together until I dated it back to starting this shampoo & conditioner and actually seeing what my hair looked like from a distance/on camera. Since then, I have also purchased an after-rinse product to increase shine even more.
*
It has a mild smell that is musky but not overwhelming (as reviews of the deep conditioner mention). It is expensive but it is worth it.
*
I have very long, straight, black hair (I'm half Japanese).
*
The old adage about not going out without clean underwear has changed: Don't go out without looking good because you never know when you'll end up on You Tube. I'm so grateful my hair looked good...thanks to Ojon!"
