I haven't even had a chance to wear these jeans anywhere yet; I've only tried them on. But they seem to have just the right amount of stretch to be comfy and just enough cling to hug your body in all the right places to be slenderizing and figure flattering. They seem true to size. I also love that these jeans actually come up to the waistline, and I won't be constantly tugging at them, pulling them up. No muffin top for me, please. I am so over low-rise pants! I'm going to enjoy wearing these jeans - a lot. I can dress them up or dress them down.

Love the fabric, love the fit! Only recommendation is to stay away from white napkins. Of course, being velvet, they attract lint. Other than that, would highly recommend.

Perfect pants for dressing up an evening out or adding some style to a more casual look. These pants fit beautifully and I would definitely suggest ordering a size smaller for a great fit. This brand of pants designs them to be worn a size smaller because of the forgiving fiber content and control ability. An absolute must for any wardrobe!

I love "The Not Your Daughters Jean" line. These velvet jeans are no exeception. Very comfortable. Does not bag or sag in the rear, or the leg. Comfortable waist.
They should fit snug when sizing. They are stretch jeans.

I'm 5'9" and purchased the talls. Long enough I could wear heels.
The fabric is very nice. The stretch is adequate.
I wear a 14 but went up a size and it fits perfectly.

At last a jean that doesn't sit low on the hip but rises up to the waist. Lovely material and leg-hugging fit. I am a 14 and ordered size 14. Perfect.

I've only worn them once so far, but the fit is a bit too snug in the thigh/knee area. I don't have the thinest legs for sure, but the "non-velvet" Barbara Jeans in same size fit beautifully. Must be the velvet material. Not sure I'm keeping them.

I have worn NYDJ for several years. I have always worn a size4 and still do however I found the velvet Jeans to be smaller and needed to order a size larger. Love them.

The jeans were great, but way too tight in the thighs....would love to have had them, but too expensive to keep and not feel comfortable when wearing. The length is perfect on them...just a bit to tight for my taste.

Not Your Daughter's Jeans are one of the best fitting pair of jeans that I have ever found. And as the product recommended, one size smaller than I usually wear was the perfect cut and length for me.
