"I purchased this top for an auction that had a Brazilian Carnivale theme. It was a semi formal event, and I wore it with slim white jeans and gold heels. I am tall, but thick through the middle, and this was the perfect look.I felt pretty and slim and everyone raved about this top. It is slightly sheer, I wore a white body suit underneath. I don;t know if this would work though if you are 5'5 or smaller- you might be swimming in it. I loved it, it will be my new summer "fancy" staple."

"this is a very beautiful fabric and looks great on except that it was oversized. I do love it though and like the fact that I don't need to wear something under it to cover the midriff. overall a nice top that I will wear frequently."

"This poncho is beautiful. It's sized for sizes 20-24 but it made me look like I was even larger. Since ponchos have no form or tailoring the fabric needs to be more sheer to be able to see your figure under it. Otherwise, it just looks like a giant blanket. This one is not nearly sheer enough. It is not flattering even when paired with some noarrow legged pants. The fabric is also very scratchy and uncomfortable. I sent it back."
