"I received the skirt and immediatly put it in my travel bag without really looking at it first. It was a disapointment when I opened my bag on the trip. The catalog pic does not show the poor material quality of this skirt for the price paid. I am used to the thicker well made materials of Soft Surroundings. I am disappointed I paid this much money for such a thin skirt. I wish I had looked at it before traveling with it, I would have returned it."

"This skirt is pretty in the catalog picture, but when I got it I was very surprised to see how flimsy the skirt is. The material is very thin and light weight and there is no lining. The quality is not consistant with the price. Saddly I sent it back. I will order another skirt from Soft Surroundings though because I have gotten some beautiful things from them."

"I very much liked this skirt, however, it would be even better if it was lined, to give it some weight. It is very comfortable and very long. I am 6' tall and the skirt comes to my ankles, which is heavenly. It is very soft and has a beautiful contrast hem. It has a very graceful movement. I have worn it to church and to my sons Tball games, so it can work in any situation. Again, the only thing that would make it better is if it was lined, other than that, it is a great skirt."

"For the first time shoping with Soft Surroundings, I am disappointed with this item. This is simply a cheap looking skirt. The photo is amazing (love the look of the border) but the material just doesn't measure up. Quality construction but poor choice of fabric. Hope they will try the look again!"

"I should have read the description better. This is a very simple cotton skirt with no lining. Despite the batik print and bottom piece, it is nothing spectacular. As a result, I think it's horribly and unjustifiably overpriced. Would be acceptable at half the price. First time I've ever been disappointed and returned an item."

"Very nice skirt. The fabric drapes beautifully and the embroidered border really makes the style stand out from the average long skirt. The skirt is a little fuller toward the hem than it appears in the picture. It is also longer than 36"--maybe 38"--which pleased me very much. I'm 5 ft 10" and the skirt hits 2" above my ankle. Perfect for a dressier look. This was a great purchase. Hurray to Soft Surroundings!"
