"Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I had planned to write you so this was very timely. I love the curtains and so does everyone who sees them. While I note that most people have used them in the bedrooms, I have them gracing my tall windows overlooking the lake in our livingroom.
I do, however, have a complaint. After spending almost $600 for the curtains, I didn't expect to spend hours ironing them. I know it would be impossible to ship them without any wrinkles, but they should be packaged in a manner that would require very little work on the part of the recipient. These were a mess and after ironing the 5th one I was exhausted. As for recommending them to a friend, I would with the condition that I let them know about the ironing."

"I wanted something very simple . . . uncomplicated . . . fabric that would dance with the gentle breeze that we so love coming off the lake through our opened windows. "These are even prettier than I expected. Lovely detailing and they softly filter the light...so the overall effect is light and airy. I have them in a guest bedroom with whitewashed antique furniture and a net canopy. "I ordered my first set of 108 inch curtains that took an extraordinarily long time to get to me. I thought of cancelling a couple of times with the promise that when an acceptable batch came to SS that they would be proud of sending, I would be pleased. When they did come, I was pleased. "I was looking for something dramatic and billowy yet simple for our newly redone bedroom, and I'm pretty sure these will fill the bill. My intention is to place them on rods close to ceiling across three windows above the frames, so the 108" length is a boon since I still want them to pool. I do agree with previous reviewers that it takes a long time to receive them and you need at least two panels per window for fullness. Even if you have narrow windows. However, in my periwinkle bedroom with white molding they look stunning. I would order them again in a second!"

"These curtains are perfect. I had to wait a long time to receive them, and I had to order more to fit the windows correctly, however they are lovely! They are in the Master of our lake home and really give it an airy feeling. I love them and would purchase again, except I would order the longer version, since I have high ceilings and cottage style windows. Instead, I hung them with rings and clips to obtain the length!"

"The curtains provide a soft, casual look to my master bedroom without looking too feminine or frilly. They did take a long time to arrive but ultimately arrived over a month ahead of the projected shipping date. They are well worth the wait. "It did take 3 months to recieve these curtains, but they gave my Beddroom that Carribean feel I was looking for. I think they are a bit to long, but will probably leave them as they are. I was happy to read that they are machine washable. All in all very happy with my purchase."
