Soft Surroundings Ingrid Smocked Quilt
Unmade never looked so right. The cozy, "crumpled" effect created by intricate, artisanal hand-smocking on this luscious quilt and sham brings an intriguing contrast with the delicious softness of rayon made from bamboo blended with cotton and generous poly filling. Tonal embroidery accents the hand-tufting. And the more rumpled, the better! Please note: Back insert card on quilt packaging incorrectly states "Please Dry Clean". Catalog/Web copy and care labels on quilt state it is "Washable", which are the correct care instructions.

I fell in love with this quilt when it was only available in blue, After some time more colors were added. I had to have white ! So I emailed customer service to inquire about the possibility of getting white in the selection. They were great, Spring of 2010 it became available . I had to have been the first to order it. I love it, excellant quality, very unique, feels and looks yummie. I'm so happy, they're a pleasure to do business with and I got a fabilous quilt.

I just ordered and received the color swatches for this bedding. I had fallen in love with the blue coverlet in the catalog and on line. I was preparing to decorate a whole bedroom around the blue coverlet I loved it so much. However, after seeing the swatches I realize that it is NOT blue at all. It's green, perhaps sea foam, but not blue. At least the swatch I received is definitely green. It doesn't even look the slightest bit like the color on the web site or catalog. However, hats off to Soft Surroundings for selling swatches. Easier than getting a quilt that must be returned.
However, I would recommend that your printers/web masters try to at least make green look green, not blue,

The Ingrid Collection lives up to be much more than described here. Absolutely Fabulous! Sure, when it is first placed on the bed, it is not as 'puffed up" as the photo, but give it time. The feel of the fabric is like none other! I would have the Ingrid in all my bedrooms, if it were practical. Caution: Order all the bedding collection at the same time. I ordered a 3rd pillow sham and there was noticeable difference in the color. I returned it. Thanks to Gloria at Soft Surroundings customer service for her EXCEPTIONAL Customer Service, my master bedroom is Fabulous! I am working on the Lombardi Collection now!! I hope I am equally thrilled with it. - THANK YOU again, Gloria (GLM)!!

Ingrid Smocked Quilt Love It!

This quilt is just lovely. It is the perfect weight for summer or winter. It has ample length on the sides which one rarely finds on a bedcover. I find myself making my bed daily even though I get up so early, just to be able to see how gorgeous it is once I return from work. I highly recommend the product.

Awesome Comforter!

I, too, like some other reviewers, hemmed and hawed about buying this comforter, mostly because of the price. But when I finally decided to take the plunge, splurge and purchase the comforter, I was sooo glad I did! This comforter is well worth the money you pay. It is well made, soft, not too bulky but warm at the same time. It is not overly puffy, but it still looks awesome on my bed. I originally kept my down comforter on underneath the Ingrid, but it got to be too warm with both comforters and a blanket on, so I took the down comforter off. I bought the baby blue color and it looks fantastic against my darker cherry sleighbed. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is teetering on the edge of purchasing it. Go ahead - treat yourself - you won't be sorry!!

I have been eyeing this plush quilt for a couple of years and finally bought it for myself as a Christmas treat. I absolutely love it. It has made my bed so luxuriuos and it the perfect weight.

I couldn't be happier with this set. The quilt is sooooooo soft and really cozy warm even though it's fairly light weight. Beautifully made, pretty but not too girly!

This quilt is wonderful, soft and very rumpled. Always looks good on the bed you just can't make it look bad on your bed. I purchased the quilt in the natural color. Also got the raw silk bedskirt and Euro Shams to match. Receive compliments all the time.

Just love the quality, it's light and so very soft. I purchased the natural which blends in very well with whites and creams.
Plan to spend some time to steam press as it arrives rathered wrinkled due to the way it is packaged. I purchased a steamer and spent about 5 hours on it. Once finished, it looked fantastic!

I am very, very happy with this quilt. I know some people have mentioned that their quilt is flat and doesn't quite look like the picture, but the one i received is very fluffy. The detail of the smocking makes the bed look so pretty. This quilt was a great buy.

I was looking for something that looked nice, but also comfy and inviting. I had looked all over and had narrowed down to this & the Lombardi. I ordered fabric samples of both and this was was much softer. I paired it with 2 matching shams and 3 silk Antique Blue shams. I love it all! Great purchase.

I purchased the twin size on sale in natural for a sleigh bed in a guest bedroom. It is absolutely lovely and adds a lot of elegance to the room. I had a guest this past weekend and she commented on how special it made her feel to sleep in such a pretty bed. I'm not sure I would have paid full price but it's certainly worth what I paid. I find it plenty fluffy and my guest said it was lightweight but warm. It comes down to the side rails of the sleigh bed so is an ample size.

I really love the look of the quilt in the catalogue. I found that it's too flat in person. I would love the quilt if it had more fluffiness and depth. The price point is also too high for what you get.
