Belt was a disappointment

I purchased a large and the belt was entirely too small. I tried at the waist and different places on hip and it did not make it around twice. I am size 10-12 so it wasn't like I was trying to put an elephant in a small area. Soft Surroungings should carry xl.

This item failed to meet your usual quality. Looked rugged and possibly already used. Ran small; not true to my usual sizing. Sent it back. As a long time customer, was very disappointed.

I purchased the Acanthus knit skirt and top and it is shown with this belt. I thought the price with the shipping made the belt a tad expensive so shopped all the stores in the mall and never found anything as unique as this belt so gave in and ordered it. I like it very much and if I were wearing the belt around my waist, the size would be perfect. Since I'm wearing it lower as shown with the blouse and skirt, I did have to add a hole right at the end of the belt to make it work. If that is your purpose of the belt, then it does run a bit short...otherwise, you will have a great belt with a very nice soft gold color.

The belt is beautiful. The Antique brass hardware is very sturdy and rich looking and the double wrap design is great to wear over a sweater or button down shirt. It is a well made, light weight and versatile belt.
