Not Up To Soft Surrounding Usual Quality

I was very disappointed in the material quality of this quilt. It certainly didn't live up to your usual products. Picture of set was lovely and I got fooled. Have given it away and already replaced the entire set from another vendor.
This doesn't mean I will be not be back for other purchases. I will just be more selective in the future.

This is an absolutely gorgeous quilt. It's well made, soft, and the colors look true to the photo. I totally don't understand how anyone could give it less than 5 stars. I'm very happy I purchased it. :-)

Love this Quilt

I love this quilt. It makes the bedroom look so homey and comfortable. Every time I walk past the bed I can't resist reaching over to feel how soft the quilt is. My calico cat can't wait for me to make the bed every morning so she can snuggle up on top of the quilt to sleep the day away. Very happy with my purchase and the prompt delivery of my order. No Regrets at all.

Colors were just as shown in the catalog and online. I like the design, the weight, and the quality of the material. I bought the queen-size, and it is generous in size. Also purchased 2 standard shams to match. I am perfectly satisfied with both purchases.

I LOVE Soft Surroundings and all of their products. And both my husband and I LOVE the Marrakesh Express Bedding recently purchased. My husband actually complimented the way our bedroom as starting to take shape, and he loves the colors!
It's machine washable - which we have to have because we have 3 basset hounds who share the bed with us :-) - though we do keep a top sheet on top of this comforter.
Excellent product, shipped quickly and look forward to doing more business with you all!

I have been using what I call soft coastal colors in my room --sea green, aqua, and medium blue. I wanted different bedding, but in the same color range, and this is perfect.
The weight is wonderful, the softness is perfect, and it is generously cut, easily covering the box springs. The patterns are great, and the colors are lovely.
I'm not crazy about the tie things at the corner, and I had thought that they were removable. They're not; they're an extension of the flange trim, so oh well. This might be an issue for those with cats who are intrigued by strange dangling doo-dads...
Overall, delighted with my purchase.

I almost didn't order this quilt after reading some of the earlier reviews - boy am I glad I ordered it anyway - I love it!. The colors and textures are similar to what you see in the online photos - very organic in look and feel - which is representative of what a quilt is supposed to be. I love the beautiful blues and greens and paisley print. It looks great with my wood furniture and is a compliment to my relaxed decor. I am very happy with this purchase.

I was hesitant to purchase this bedding (quilt and shams) after reading some of the previous reviews. Whereas some reviewers thought the colors were too muted and/or too green, they work perfectly in my slate blue bedroom. The colors are exactly as shown on the internet (at least on my monitor) and in the catalog. The bedding gives my room a very rich and cozy feel. I LOVE this bedding!

I admired this quilt for what feels like a couple of years in the catalog. When I saw it go on sale I was so worried that it would go away forever I went ahead and finally made the purchase. I was glad I read the reviews because it prepared me for the material being not quite as soft as I might have imagined as well as the colors not being as vivid in person. But it is still just as beautiful as I wanted. The coloring goes perfecftly in my guest room. It should make a terrific year round blanket for life in the south.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY NEW TWIN QUILT! IT MAKES THE ROOM POP EVEN THOUGH THE COLORS ARE SOFT. AFTER SEEING HOW MUCH IT ADDED TO A SMALL ROOM, I ORDERED A SHAM TO COMPLETE THE LOOK. IT HASN'T ARRIVED YET, BUT I KNOW IT WILL BE PERFECT.

The Marrakesh Express quilt and shams are exactly what I wanted for my bedroom--my sanctuary. The colors and design are the right touch for my pale blue walls and ocean blue carpet. I love the "feel" of the fabric and the near weightlessness of the quilt. Needless to say, I'm exceptionally pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful colors and unique styling. I was disappointed with the quality of the fabrics, however. The stitching for the quilting seems to be done by hand, and the stitches are a bit larger than they should be. I'm not sure how well this quilt will hold up.

This morning when I made my bed I thought, "This is the most beautiful quilt I've ever seen." It's soft and comfy, the colors are vibrant and the size is generous even on a queen sized bed (as opposed to full-sized). I love it.

I knew this quilt would be fantastic because of the reviews but I had no idea it would be this pretty and COMFY!
I saw this in the catalog this passed summer --- I hemmed and hawed and once my husband and I bought a new bedroom set, I bit the bullet and ordered it.
It arrived yesterday and the quality is phenomenal -- hand stitching! So soft and comfy. Like another review said, I'll be decorating my entire room around this quilt.
